That could be Great-grandparents marriage alright, given that Thomas their first son was born in 1866.

The 1901 census names/dates/location look to mostly match up too Dathai, though the ages don't match in the 1911 one.

Think pension
the pension was introduced about 1903 and there was loads of lies told on the 1911 census regards ages in order to qualify,however the government was wise to this and went back through the earlier census's that were not destroyed at this time to prove if they were telling the truth.

qualifing age was 70

Great insight.  Two of them had indeed aged to exactly 70 by the 1911 census.
