http://mepnab.netau.net/b/brownhenry.html#brown is not connected as we know it it can not be clarified, I have written to the site regarding Sealer Scot but no reply, as this site has different parents for Esther Brown nee Scot, Esther was the daughter of Sealer Scot from King Island, we believe she was born on the mainland of Tasmania, before Scot went to live on King Island with Aboriginal woman Maria, Esther didnot go with her parents she went into domestic service.
Their site does have some of our Browns but others that don't match with the Victorian Browns.
The deaths of 1878 for Esther are on that site as well as Henry 1880 but because of the different parents for Esther it cannot be clarified....

Who are the ones that don't match?

I think you will find that Sealer Scot was actually John SCOTT, a sealer.   Google is your friend :

https://blackwarvandiemensland.wordpress.com/  (a descendant of John SCOTT has posted on a blog there)

From that other website re Esther's parents .... I quote

Esther Scott born 1814 in Tasmania

As far as we know Esther was born to Thomas Scott and Mary Tracey, who came to Tasmania as convicts. From Suzanne - Mary TRACEY was born in Ireland - and possibly in Dublin Ireland - circa 1790 - that is a very rubbery guess. She had a child with Thomas SCOTT in Launceston Tasmania in 1814.

Gee OK thanks for that I think lol!http://www.rootschat.com/forum/Smileys/classic/rolleyes.gif I have picked up this tree with  some info abt them, for a good friend trying to establish her tree her family are saying the first 5 of these children are their relatives not the rest! It's all very strange, as they are saying that their heritage is from a direct ancestor who was a Aboriginal woman as per before Maria, who had Esther Brown nee Scott! Where as that web that I sent u had all the Browns on it but says Esther Scot mother was Mary and was English not Aboriginal!
So give me your opinion!  ;D I must say that my friends Grand Father was Adam Brown b.1884 d.1970 and she knew him and he was vv dark in skin colour.

Its a lot to try and sort out....

Thanks for your Help it is very valuable
