Interesting well that makes the marriage far more likely.

Well I just had a general look for any Gaynors baptised in the parish or anything close in spelling within the parish. Could be in a neighbouring parish, not recorded or even completely illegible.

I'm beginning to think he may be the John I already have. Is that variant of Owen as well?

Thanks will just have to keep looking I suppose.

Hi,
I'm hoping MikeyP84 sees this.
My great grandmother was Mary Russell (nee Gaynor) and Peter Michael Russell was the brother of my grandmother Esther. I have a photo of Mary Russell and her brother Owen J Gaynor standing next to the headstone that Owen had erected for their parents. The photo was taken before Peter died, so his name doesn't appear on the headstone.

I guess you are also a descendant of Mary or Owen J Gaynor? Do you have any information about their Gaynor grandfather please?
