California marriage - Dundas and Childs

I am looking for a record of the marriage of Dorothea Minerva Childs to an unknown Dundas.  His first name is unknown but his initials may have been D.M.  The marriage probably took place in Los Angeles after 1922.  I cannot find Dorothea under any surname in 1930.  Dorothea later married Lawrence O'Connell and died in Monterey, California in 1959.

Not sure if I have the right couple but on the 1940 census I have a Dorothea (1895 Wisconsin)  & Lawrence O'Connell (1896 New York) living in New York:

The census shows that in 1935 Lawrence was living in New York, but Dorothea was living in St Paul Minnesota.

This Dorothea and Lawrence are in Florida on the 1945 state census:

Dorothea doesn't appear to be in the 1928 directory under "Childs":

There is a Demar Dundas who lived on Tularosa Drive, which according to today's map is about a ten minute/3 mile drive from Figueroa (given how large Los Angeles is now, the addresses were relatively close).

Demar Dundas may have been born in c1909 in Nebraska and is on the 1920 LA census.  Do not see him (after a quick search) in 1930.  He is living in Sacramento, California in 1940 and was there in 1935.  Wife:  Thelma - 1940 census.
