George Luton

The above named sailed to Canada as  a Home child. I am trying to find out more about him. I could not access the 1921 Canadian census. He was from Shoreditch. His Mother died in 1905 and his father re-married. He had three brothers and two sisters.

Hi Groom

Thank you for your input on this. I think that Enna is someone who i tried to guide to the Database for Home Children earlier today, not on  a  Chatters  thread!!.

Alanmack has already put George in the database, but needs Enna to claim him. I gave her instructions to try to do that or leave a message on the Home Child thread  for Karen or Alan to pick up is she couldn't manage it.

I seem to have failed, so perhaps they may see these messages.

Thanks again

here is a link to the offsite info found for you, once you familiarize yourself with the Home child database ( see alanmack's advice above) you can edit to enter all the information others have retrieved for you.. http://www.GenesReunited.co.za/boards/board/ancestors/thread/1352316

For those looking in, the info re:Canada still not found is George Luton on the 1921 census....
