 The OPR for Monkton states-“Sommerville Donald a natural son to Somerville Donald of Coylton and Agnes Lyle in this parish was born 10th of September and baptised 15th October 1833.  Does anyone know what became of this Sommerville, born in 1833 ? and to his mother Agnes Lyle ?

SP have a death for a Somerville Donald 1855 Monkton Ayr , born c1833

FreeCEN 1841 Census transcription has a Somervile Donald age 7 living with Thomas Lyle age 17 and Susan Lyle age 13 in Monkton & Prestwick Ayrshire.

Looks like the parents of Thomas Lyle and Susan Lyle are George Lyle and Margaret Latta.

Thanks EV, had a look at the sites you suggested. It's indeed a small world, I see some of the tribe went to Warrnambool & Koroit, I spent a week in Warrnambool two years ago visiting friends.
