Help needed with our July challenge

Dear Readers

Do any of you frequent the county record office or local archive repositories for Somerset?

Some of the research we are carrying out for the July challenge has foundered because we need someone to go and check the parish records in person.

It is obvious that vast tracts of Somerset records were not transcribed by the mormons so anything pre 1837 is not available on the internet to be searched.

If you are likely to visit the Somerset archives in person before the end of July please can you PM me or read the July challenge thread or summary thread, to see how you could help.
