Drumcashlone, Newry
« on: Tuesday 15 September 15 06:04 BST (UK) »
I have a signature from an ancestor on a death record, a cousin of the deceased, from Drumcashlone, Newry, in 1964.

I have some ideas of the possible surnames, and wondered if there is an old telephone directory from that time, anywhere?

Can you give the surnames?

Yes, the signature looks like S J Mc Knt. Could be S J McKnight, as there were McKnight cousins, but none that were S J. Could it be McComb, I wondered.

The death from 16 Dec 1964 is for Thomas McComb, from a farm near Newry.
