There is also a baptism record for a Ruth Stain 1st Jan 1770 Kenilworth parents listed as Elizabeth and Daniel Stain

There is a burial for a Ruth Barton in Kenilworth on 21 Oct 1822, age 53, which gives a birth year approx 1769.

I will have a look at the marriage at the record Office (only 5 mins away)because the vicar could have wrote Stean on the Marriage Page but I will have a look at the signature it may be Stain unless she couldn't write.
