yes I seen that I purchased John Francis Birth cert today it gives Mary Muldoon as mother, I then purchased the James Mullarney and Mary Muldoon marriage cert..1918
On this it states James is 37 yr old 'Batchelor'..father John Mullarney, allowing for the usual age 'error' im presuming that James is the 17 yr old son of John Mullarney from Tully in the 1901 census.?
On 1911 he is aged 32 as boarder in house in Lettfore Galway employed on Railway.
His Mother Margaret on 1911 census states she is widow..John pass's away between 1901-1911, but she states that she was 40yrs married.
My next move is to get James birth cert circa 1881, then his parents marriage cert circa 1871.
Im hoping that because of the rarity of the Mullarney name I might get info from local graveyard..I believe another Variation of the spelling is 'Melarney' as there is also a Denis Melarney listed for Tully..he had son Thomas, this Thomas I think was a witness to the 1918 Marriage.
