Wright Wellingborough

Bit of a long shot, I'm after a contact doing the family of William Wright. Born in 1877 in Astwood Bucks, at some point he relocated to Wellingborough.

in 1901 he is a boarder, in 1902 he marries Edith Annie

By 1911 he has two daughters, Phyliss Ada and Gladys May.

Now he may have other children...

So we don't break the rules, I am happy to be contacted privately.

Are you looking for children after 1911? What was his wife's maiden name?

Hopefully children after 1911. They may be alive so we should be cautious,  but it's more about whether this bit of family still exists.

Maiden name.  Well I struggled a bit with this. It looks like it might be Wright, but this would mean they where related.

Have you tried using Freebmd, as after 1911 the maiden name of the mother is given?

You really need their marriage certificate if you haven't already got it to be sure of her maiden name.

Ok, so Edith Anne was also born in Astwood, in 1880 and William lodged with a George Wright also from Astwood in 1901 George is two years older and is Williams cousin. I don't think they are first cousins but its hard to work out.

Edith Anne is George's sister. Certainly the ages match up, and her birthplace is on 1911 cencus.

A marriage in 1901 (Nov) of William Wright and Edith Anne Wright took place in Wellingborough.

The actually had four children, I got that bit wrong.

in 1911 there are :-

Albert William aged 8
Gladys May Aged 6
Mabel May Aged 4
Phylis Ada 8 months

They live at 9 Chace road in Wellingborough


Albert William Wright would be of most interest, and will clearly not be living
