Pier Lodge, Argent St, Grays, Essex - Photo?
« on: Wednesday 16 September 15 22:25 BST (UK) »
Hi!  I was wondering if anyone might have a current or old photo of Pier Lodge in Grays?

My distant relatives lived there through several generations from the mid 1880s until about the mid 1940s.

I just cannot find a photo - I've searched high and low online and through old photo books of the area.

Can anyone help???

Many thanks, Nina :)

I visited our local museum today and was lucky that the curator was in.  He had a look through the archive and the only photo he had was this.

Although working from the distance from the Wharf it may be the one in the background

Wow! Thanks Nic, that's great!  Sadly I hear it was demolished recently to make way for yet another block of flats ...  Nina
