1881 -

Thomas Johnson   32
Elizabeth Johnson   21
Jane A. Johnson   dau 9
James Johnson   3
Elizabeth Johnson   1

RG11 Piece 5029 Folio 34 Page 19, Windy Nook Lane.
Thomas' wife is Elizabeth (as per 1891), so that doesn't help to establish who Jane Ann was.

To clarify who Jane Ann's parents were you will need to purchase her birth cert.

Birth of Jane Ann Johnston
q1 1872, Durham

This could be Thomas in 1871 - in Windy Nook. Unmarried, unemployed quarryman. Note the age - I wonder if he lost a few years to reduce the gap to Elizabeth

Not sure if this is in the right place, but could it be Jane Ann's baptism?

Not too sure why this is on the Northumberland board?

The 1891 census gives Jane Ann's birthplace as Blue Quarries, her age recorded as 18
1881 census gives her birthplace as Heworth, her age recorded as 9

Both of those birthplaces would produce a birth registration in Gateshead Registration District.

From FreeBMD there are two possibilities

1 Q4 1871, JOHNSTON Jane Ann, Gateshead 10a 729

2 Q2 1872 JOHNSON Jane Ann Gateshead 10a 892

The local registrar in Gateshead 'may' check for you (if you email and ask, and they have the time)  to see if either of those births had a father called Thomas to narrow down which cert to apply for.

familysearch.com gives christenings for Jane Ann Johnson in 1872, born 1871 in Gateshead to John and Ann and Jane Ann Johnston born and christened in Tynemouth in 1871 to John and Alice.

I couldn't see a christening for Jane Ann born 1872

Because most people (except Geordies) see Gateshead as part of Newcastle and forget that the historic county boundary ran down the middle of the Tyne.

I'm sure I'm right in saying that Inicky lives in or near Gateshead  :) Apologies in advance if I'm incorrect.
