1871 Kilmesdon Levi is 22 with family coal miner

1881 Fosters Court Wells 31 malster wife Mary 28 born Mears Somerset  George 3

I cant find a marriage for Levi and Mary would like to know who were her parents.

There is a marriage Q/E Sep 1876 - Wells Reg Dist for a Levi Treasure.

On the same page of the Index is a Mary Nutt.

A possibility maybe.

In 1891 Holcombe born Levi still has a wife Mary, so there must be two Levis at least.

There is a Levi born 1862 in Shepton Mallet with wife Alice in 1891, so that accounts for the 1 marriage. But he could have briefly been married to one of the 1881 brides. Athough I can't see a death of a female Treasure of the right sort of age between 1881 and 1885 in Shepton Mallett

And a third Levi born 1845 single on 1881 census and with wife Elizabeth in 1891, so she looks like Elizabeth Swaine Carey.

Surprising there are so many of them of similar age in the same county with an uncommon name like that!

There seems to be two families of treasure's one family from Stoke lane and another from Holcombe, they use mainly  the same Christian names which doesn't help.  I am trying to sort the family from  Holcombe.  Thank you for your help.

There is a Mary Nutt baptised in Mere 16 Jun 1850  d/o Michael and Elizabeth. She is in Meare with parents on 1851 census. Still in Meare with widowed father in 1861. In 1871 it looks like she is a servant to the Fry family in Wells. Looks like Nuth on census form, Ancestry transcribed as Nath. If it is right person, it places her in Wells ready to meet Levi.
