Is this the same man

I am researching Frederick Dicks born abt 1826 Leicester.
I have found two marriages for him....
1... to a Elizabeth Nobles, 1849 St Peters Bedford
2... to a Ann Chamberlain 1871 St Marys Bedford.

However, In the 1871 census I have a Frederick Dicks from Leicester living in Bedford with a wife Emma.
I also found a newspaper 1871 article regarding this Frederick and it mentions Emma Lovell living with him as his wife. The newspaper article was in May 1871 and he married Ann Chamberlain in Oct. Could the census have been taken before Oct, therefore he states Emma has is wife.
I can't seem to find him in the 1881 census.
Could these two Fredericks be one and the same?
Any help would be great

1851 frederick dicks 1827 Leicestershire living with parents (married)

1861 frederick and wife elizabeth living in bedford

Marriage on FS....Frederick Worthington Dicks Ann Noble 6 April 1849, also on a website for bedford marriages it states both his marriages. Cannot find one for a Frederick Dicks or Emma though.

Maybe he was visiting his parents on 1851 census

sorry that should say Elizabeth, not Ann.
Elizabeth died I think 1864, they were living Commercial Road Bedford.

Theres a frederick dicks born c1829 died 1879 Biggleswade Bedfordshire if this is your frederick then thats why you havent found him in 1881
