Revercon? - COMPLETED
« on: Wednesday 30 September 15 11:15 BST (UK) »
Reading an old deed and seeing the word revercon & revercons with an abbreviation mark over the 'co' part of the word. Is this reversion or something else? Anyone know? I know I have come across this before, but the answer is eluding me at the moment.
Many thanks for any replies.

Peggy

In property deeds Reversion is commonly written Revercon, with a contraction mark above for the missing i (usually transcribed as Reverc(i)on).
