Thanks Ambly and Keyboard86,
Does not answer Frank's where about only more questions.
I did notice on his Canadian WW1 record it mentions that he had military service earlier with Royal Marines Light Infantry but helpfully no date or dates.
Kind Regards

Aren't they just!

We might find Frank with other family, so finding married sisters etc is an avenue to follow.

Brother: Harry Joseph COLEMAN
B Camberwell Surrey, 1878
Attested January 1920 for Short Service, age 41, unmarried, jobbing gardener,
He was discharged , Surplus to need:
NOK: Sister Mrs A ALBIN or ALLIN (ALLEN?), 30 Somerset Road, Brentford Mdx.
Had served in WW1 from 1914 in previous service (free discharge 11 Jan 1920) as:
418470, Cpl, Labour Corp
And CRWP Royal Fusiliers
5',2"3/4 inches tall (in 1920) (or 5', 4" in 1914)  fresh complexion, Dk grey eyes, black hair.

NOK originally was mother Mary Ann of 165? Cunningham Road, Shepherds Bush
Then,  also friend: Mrs Hicks of 7 Hirbernia Road, Hounslow.

I think sister Nelly (aged 30)married Arthur SHIRLEY in 1906, father Joseph COLEMAN (deceased) and the two witness' were F.COLEMAN and E.COLEMAN.
