Isabella and Sarah Bind/Bund, 1853-1856
« on: Sunday 04 October 15 05:24 BST (UK) »
In my ancestor's will, Peter Mawdsley of Poulton cum Seacombe in Cheshire, dated 1853 he leaves an annuity to an Isabella Bind/Bund daughter of Sarah Bind/Bund. I have not been able to locate any references to an Isabella or Sarah that seem to match. Peter died in 1856 aged 92. I think Isabella may have been a natural daughter of Peter. Any assistance appreciated.

Could you post Peter in the 1841 and 1851 censuses, just to help with background?

Thanks for the reply but both individuals do not appear in the 1841 or 1851 census, so are not connected with the household as servants.

i did not expect to find the individuals in his household, i just wanted some background.

When you state that neither Isabella nor Sarah appear in1841 nor 1851, presumably you mean that you have not yet found them, or possibly that Sarah has died?

Sorry chempat. I should have linked this post to another regarding the reading of the surname, which rosie99 has done for me.
