I found whilst loking at the Crockett family from Draine a William Crockett married in 1735 to Janet Rtson, could this be Robertson, although did find a Rotson in Strichen, Aberdeenshire and Rotsone in Forres?  Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

These are regular abbreviations for Robertson.
