I cannot see a marriage in a C of E church in any of the parishes mentioned - from the entries available on Ancestry, although there is no church listed for Milton.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

The page range for Dec 1/4 1906 Dorking is 333-361.

Typically the numbers at the lower end of the range are the anglican parish entries, followed by Jewish & Quaker and the registrar attended and register office.

The entry you are looking for, 359, is most probably recorded at the register office and won't be online.

You'll need to apply to the GRO for a copy for £9.25 or try and find a newspaper announcement for more details.

Thank you all for your support. I think I'll say no to buying a certificate at least for a while.
It looks as if the marriage was a " Sneaky" arrangement with an out of town marriage and a child Phyllis, born at Bramley in the Hambledon RD, both in the same quarter. As my mother would have said  " Tut Tut".  Phyllis was baptised on the 27th Jan 1907 at Bramley.
Again many thanks.
