I'm a bit confused here.
Daug Elizabeth born 1883/Marriage 1888

Having trouble finding them in 1901.
I searched any Kings living in Rhymney in 1901 and none of those names came up.

When/where was Thomas born?

Trish :)

Hi Trish
Thanks for your time and interest.  I found some of the family in Brithdir at 19 Bristol Terrace. Joseph King was listed as married, age 40 with 3 daughters Lizzie [Elizabeth] (18), born in America; Annie (13) and Mary A (11); wife was not at home. From what I know Joseph King and wife Polly came to Rhymney from the States in about 1870.  I wonder if you could please check if Joseph, Polly and daughter Mary Ann King (called Maisie) are in Rhymney in 1871/81.

Ok 1901 we have;
Joseph King, 40, born Merthyr, Glamorgan, Wales (1861)
Lizzie King, 18
Annie King, 13
Mary A King, 11
Girls all born United States
Living in Gelligaer,, Glamorganshire

Ok what Joseph King are we talking about arriving Wales c 1870?
The Father of Joseph above?
Where does Thomas fit in?

Hi Trish
I'm getting just as confused;it would appear possibly two generations with the same christine names.

I found an article in the Weekly Mail 24 Feb 1906 which reads: "Feb 18 at Brithdir, Joesph second son of the late Mrs King-Davies, of Rhymney, aged 43 years." Could Mrs King-Davies be the wife of Thomas King????
