Death Records 1828
« on: Wednesday 07 October 15 18:25 BST (UK) »
Hi

Could anyone tell me where I can find death records for Balrothary, Dublin from 1828 onwards.  I am looking for Michael Bissett, baptised 14 June 1828, in Balrothery.  Parents John Bissett and Mary Clarke.  There is another Michael registered on 30 August 1837 with the same parents so I am assuming that the first Michael must have died.

Can anyone help?

Thanks    Diane

Statutory death registration only started in Ireland in 1864. Prior to that only the Church of Ireland generally kept any burial records. Do you know what denomination this family was?

Probably no record of the death then, unless on gravestone.
