There's also the possibility that she was in the UK by 1901.

As you can see this won't be easy without more info.

Thanks to everyone who has tried their hardest to sort my query out.  I am still on the quest for any details on her mother and if there were any siblings.  Her father John William Byrne, I do not know his date of birth yet and he was noted on their marriage certificate as being deceased.  His trade is also on the certificate as 'joiner'.

So still delving but thanks to everyone who has kindly taken the trouble so far.

Sue

Yesterday I gave you a link to a Kate Byrne who wasn't living with her immediate family, but extended family in Coole.

Coole is quite close to Knockbaun where John the carpenter was living.

OOOHHHH

This one is interesting ~

There was the John Byrne in Dysartgallen in 1901 down as Carpeneter / Mason

PLUS there is another John Byrne in 1901 in Dysartgallen in 1901 down as a Mason

AND this one had a daughter called KATE

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Queen_s_Co_/Dysartgallen/Knockbaun/1641653/

Obvs Carpenter / Joiner are like professions ~ I wonder did Mason go hand in had too !

Still early days though !
