Ann Ecob 1856 Walton on the Wolds

Walton Prs :

No record of baptism / marriage of Ann nor found in Leics IGI.

However in Leics Igi saw the baptism of Cornelius Charles Ecob 6/10/1816 Barkston s/o Richard & Sarah so if this is your family you have another generation.

I think the only chance I have is with the marriage its the only way to find her father's name.

Her parents are either Thomas and Mary or Charles/Cornelious and Ann. but there again neither of them are living in The Walton on the Wolds area.

One is at Upper Broughton and the other Waltham on the Wolds which are both near to Melton.

I also think in 1891 she might have told the numerator somewhere on the Wolds and he assumed she meant Walton.In the other census she said she is born Thurmaston which is where her husband was born and the problem is that's nearer Walton.

It could be worth while looking at Walton Parish Baptisms from about 1855 to 1858 see if there is a Ann Ecob there.
