I can see only one marriage William Hockenhull and Hannah Bassford 30 Jan 1766
William's Residence is Bunbury Hanah's Res St John the baptist.
They were married by Lic at St Boniface Bunbury.
On one record William is a Waggoner and another one has him as Husbandman.
Witnesses were Thomas Fletcher who features on a few records so probably a parish official
and Phebe Young

Have you searched theClergy Database?

http://db.theclergydatabase.org.uk/jsp/search/index.jsp

The entry for William identifies father and DoB

Rev. William Hockenhull Molyneux's father (William Hockenhull) was not a Rev.
I am researching the family named Molyneux (or possibly Molineux, Molineaux and Molyneaux (or with 2'LL's or without the 'X')), of South East Lancashire (Wigan, Pemberton and Ormskirk area), England.

Also researching; Fairhurst, Lancaster (Lancaster-Fairhurst), Griffith and Hayden (Haydon)

John Digby of Liverpool and Catherine Hockenhull of Prenton were granted a marriage Lic. 7 July 1734
Is this the Katherine that was married to John and does it then connect to the Molyneux family of
SE Lancashire?
This marriage is on Family Search and has, I think, been wrongly transcribed ::

I think this is St John's Church in Chester. She must have lived in that parish,
I'm off out now but will have another look at it later :)

Who's saying his father is a Rev - I'm not!

On the site identified, Find William, 1792-1796 and click on "Show all records"

Does this link to " Marriages - At Lymm, the Rev William Hockenhull, Vicar of Sherbourne and Fenton, Yorkshire to Miss E. Taylor, of Lymm Hall"? (Oxford Journal, 5 Oct 1799)
.
