Hi ,

Looking at the 1841 Census George Hutton was probably widowed by then.
Did he remarry in 1843 , Janet Brown ?

A Parish Minister losing his wife would have been newsworthy.  Go here http://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk enter his or her name then on the left there are various filters you can select but keep it the search broad, the earlier the dates the broader you should search. You could also try the Scotsman http://archive.scotsman.com
You don't have to pay unless you find something you want.
