thanks everybody, challo put the post up for me,  sorry it took so long to get here, what I could never find was a marriage for my nan,  I have her birth cert so I knew were she was on 1901 census an on the 1911 she was in an industrial school with the nuns, I recently found out on FindMyPast on courts an legal records that her an a sister was found out without an adult an was put away for a few years that was in 1909, its great what you all have found out though, I didn't think her mum an dad would of married in 1880, I thought it would of been a few years before this because they both seem to be getting on a bit and also to have their parents names aswell,, thanks everyone

Hi There Lamchop and Welcome

They defo married in 1880 as you can see by the link.

While Patrick could have been 60 in 1901 ~ I'd imagine that Elizabeth was about 40 in 1901.

Ages are notoriously incorrect on census'.

So, do you have all the info that you need now ?
