1851 Margaret with children Jane (c1834) Harry, Samuel, Ann and Margaret
           William Fell lodger

1861 daughter Jane married and living in Durham

Hi might be worth looking at the 1861 William Fell aged 34 b Aughton

And the 1871 Martha Twist 16 b Parr
Census Ref RG10/3866/44/2

And the 1881 Margaret Fell 63 Widow/Mother in Law b Parr with a Martha Molyneux 26 b Parr

I can't find a marriage for Margaret Twist and William Fell 1851-1861

  I do not think you will!
But Martha married as a Fell

Do you think they didnt marry just changed names?

Martha was born after Peter died so although named Twist could be William Fell's daughter.

  I think Margaret just "took his name" and had 3 children by him, she reverts to Twist in 1871 possibly due to the family they are living with, and then regained the Fell name due to being with her Son in Law, in both 1871 & 1881 their is if I recall a Millington connection?!

Back again! Now the gro has added MMN i tried looking for the birth reference for the children of Margaret and William but with no joy!

in 1861 William Fell, Martha Fell and Mary Fell
in 1871 William Twist, Martha Twist and Mary Twist

tried looking under Fell and Twist!

as previously mentioned Martha was married as Martha Fell
