When did Harvey Merwin marry in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Connecticut?

I am looking for any Information about Harvey Merwin born about 1894 in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Connecticut.
I believe that he married Sarah Elizabeth Pow - year not known.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

They were both single and living in Bridgeport , Fairfield, Connecticut in 1920. They are married in the 1930 census. The census states they were both married at age 30 and that they are age 35 at the time of the 1930 census. It appears they must have married about 1925.

Hope this narrows things down a bit.

I agree it does appear his wife was Sarah (Sadie) Elizabeth Pow. All information seem s to match: age, name, POB, POB of parents.

You have found the right pair in the 1930 census, Sadie´s mother was born in Scotland.

Any chance of finding them in the 1940 census?

It appears they got married around June 19, 1925. I don't have a membership to Newspaper com to see the whole article, but I can see enough of a sneak peek to know it is them.

Harvey died in Feb. of 1959. His obit mentions being survived by his wife Sadie Pow Merwin, a sister and two brothers. Yes, it appears they had no children.
