John Reilly killed in 1914 in WW1
« on: Thursday 15 October 15 16:11 BST (UK) »
On the off-chance I am wondering if anyone has any information or could offer any assistance regarding a John Reilly who was born in Larkhall, Lancashire on the 20th Jun 1892 and was killed in WW1 whilst serving in the Royal Navy in HMS Amphion in 1914.

It appears that his Father John and his Mother (name unknown) were living in Ayr around 1920.

Many thanks
Peter

Many thanks for your messages for which I am very grateful.  Still hoping to pick up some details in regard to his early life in Scotland and any details of his family, particularly the name of his Mother.
Best regards to all
Peter
