Thank you to all you good people for helping to put perspective on this. Someone and put the parents  as George Midford and Harriet Styles  on a find a grave in Canada   BUT the had the date of birth of Harriet as 1853 -which made no sense ! and I have learned if it sounds off it probably is. I spent a couple of days looking for any other source that could confirm this to no avail.

I was aware of Ann [ie]-we have her born 09 May 1836 so the Baptismal makes sense. may I ask where you found the Baptismal record Heatherjulie?
We also had Michael's details.-he was named after his Grandfather.-Michael Walter Blackett Midford.Their first child Hannah was born in Cheshire hence the reason I thought they married their. The appear to jump from Cheshire to Oxford so hard to keep track :-)
So I guess problem solved.Thanks once again.
