Welsh Baptist Chapel, Upper Brook Street Manchester

There is an notice in my local free paper to remove all the remains from the former Chapel to Prestwold burial ground so they can build residential accommodation. There is a list of names which can be viewed until 22 October, so if anybody has any relatives buried there they best be quick
names identified are:
Elizabeth Humphreys 1851
William Nicholson 1866, Mary Nicholson 1853
Jane Wellbank 1852
Janetta Bishop Mitchell, Thomas Mitchell 1859, Edward Mitchell 1862
Rev. William Turner 1859, Anne Turner 1850
Emily Worthington 1850, William Barlow Worthington 1852
Elizabeth Worthington 1862 Phoebe Worthington 1850
John Chapman 1849
Alexander James Barton 1873, Mary Barton 1851
I will be going down to take some photos so if anyone wants one let me know

Hi Everyone,

Just briefly resurrecting this old thread ... would anyone know the location of the Prestwold burial ground mentioned above?

There is a Prestwold natural burial site in Leicestershire, but that seems a long way from Manchester?

Hi,

It seems that the remains from the Upper Brook Street vaults were indeed removed in 2015 to the Prestwold Natural Burial Ground, east of Loughborough in Leicestershire.
