I have had a look on Ancestry but nothing obviously being your great granddad.
Other info which could help would be if you could let me know his wife's name, childrens names, date of marriage - really anything else that could help with a search as sometimes I have found that the record is listed under a relatives name rather than the person you are looking for.
Also, do you have him in any census records?
Know this is a big ask but it may help.
