Historically, Southwark is in the county of Surrey, south of the river

Middlesex is north of the river.

Thanks Dawn, I thought there was something odd. I have confused St Olave's, Hart St with St Olave's, Tooley St.!!!!

Hi,
I have a copy of the will of William Bartholomew, carpet/hearth rug manufacturer, Finsbury, who died in 1845.
I am happy to share.  My interest in a John Jamieson, carpet manufacturer.  William or his son William was a witness on a marriage for John's daughter in 1840.
