Has anyone any idea what a Braver's Traveller occupation could be ??? ???

1901 census in Scotland in 1911 he was an insurance agent and later on became a photographer

Are you sure he wasn't a Brewer's Traveller?

It was only the transcription as Scotlandpeople are the only ones who show the Scottish census image, so I don't know and as it is not "my ancestor"  and he doesn't marry into my tree until much later when he was a photographer. So as I didn't know what it was thought I would ask, your suggestion is certainly a more logical occupation.

Did Brewers "travel"?

Breweries would have had travelling salesmen liaising with licensees etc (for all I know they still do).
