Google "phil taylor ice capades" and you can watch a movie clip of him skating on stilts in 1941 at 46 years of age.  Noted Megan was born in the UK, did they all go back ther for a while after the war?

Philip and Olwen Taylor returned to England just before Megan was born.  I suppose George could have returned with them.  Nellie, Edith, Gilbert, John and May seem to have remained in Canada.  George's is the only grave I can't find, the others are either in Canada or the States.

The new GRO index has a death for a George Henry Taylor age 62 in Willesden RD. This would make him just about the correct age for your George?

I was wondering if you have tried to find out about the connection to the Mrs Wright?

No I haven't tried to find Mrs. Wright.  That is a good suggestion! Thanks!

Willesden RD - do you mean in North York, ON?

Willesden RD in Middlesex England

GRO link...the index is free to use but you need to register.

The entry can also be found on FreeBMD but only the initial H is shown.

I am unable to find when George Henry Taylor (1864-1927) and Ellen Emma (Nellie) Payne divorced in Saskatchewan.  I am also searching for the wedding of John Lethbridge Taylor and Sophie Ann Brown in Saskatoon, Sk.  Would you be able to help?
Thanks,
Carol

Canadian BMDs fall under provincial jurisdiction and their availabilty is subject to privacy laws. This link tells you what is available....

I'm afraid I don't know anything about divorce records.
