METZGER, Eugenia

Does anyone know anything about Eugenia METZGER (nee GRAVES in the West Indies in the 1870s)? In the 1901 UK Census she is listed as a widow aged 26 living with her brother James GRAVES in Charlton. Then no sign of her in 1911. Can anyone shed light on her, please?

Suz, many thanks. It is getting very confusing to be honest as if she married in 1902 in Bermuda how come she is a widow in the UK 1901 Census?

Although the voyage Liverpool to Montreal sounds interesting. How did you find that?

it appears she married a Robert Edward Morris.
There is a British Army service Record for

ShaunJ, again excellent news   I have just looked at a map of Jamaica and now understand about its counties. I find every day is a learning curve!

She is in Woolwich with her family in 1881 census and a servant in Portsea Hampshire in 1891 census.
