Did the information on the passenger list for Patrick match the information you have?  Be sure to check the 2nd page of the passenger list.  If I'm looking at the right one, it looks like he was going to join an uncle in Jersey City.

In case this is the right Patrick, the naturalization records have Patrick living in New Jersey and unmarried as of 1925.  The petition for naturalization said he married Evelyn on 4 Jan. 1930 in New York, NY.

Patrick and Evelyn appear to be buried in Brooklyn:  http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=57424312&ref=acom  I found an obituary for Evelyn on www.fultonhistory.com that says she was nee O'Sullivan and a native of Cork City.  I also found death records for daughters Evelyn and Ida (who was Elizabeth Ida).
