Wow, that looks fantastic  ;D ;D
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Hi,

The grandparents Pierre CHAUVEAU and Anne GAUTHERON got married in Saint-Martin-du-Puy (Nièvre) in 1794 (07/JUL/1794, relevés du CGHNM ) but there is gap in the records online (the years 1793 to 1796 seem to be missing)

According to her death record in 1863 in Quarré (24/MAR/1863), Anne GAUTHERON, rentière, was a native of Saint-Marthin-du-Puy. She was 90 years old. Unfortunately, no parents' names given.

Hi David, thanks for that new information, much appreciated.
I've managed to progress some way into the Chauveau records thanks to Quarre les Tombes
entries in the http://archivesenligne.yonne-archives.fr and online Paris archives
It is amazing that these are free to access once you figure out where to look!
