Brynmenyn Burial place Betharan Congregational

Hello,

If anyone is near Brynmenyn could you please have a look in the graveyard for William Jenkins died 15 Mar 1945 also his wife Elizabeth Jenkins died 24 Aug 1911.

I would like to know if they are still buried there.

We were in the chatroom a couple of weeks ago and you mentioned the Jenkins family to me. I`m sorry to be so long in catching up with you.
What I was going to say was that my husband`s family are from Treorchy. I have not researched any of them , but we do have some original certificates which I will get out and send you the information if it is of any help to you.

Betharan Congregational is now a private residence, I was that way today so checked grave yard.

Both William and Elizabeth are buried there together.

Thank you so much, are they by any chance near to an angel.
 I know it may sound a bit silly but when I was young my father always used to say theres the angel wave to grandad as we passed.

Hello Kaye.

Yes there is a large monumental grave behind their plot which from memory contained angels.
