Yes you could be right Cando

I thought that the "34 years..." may have referred to her length of time spent living in Sydney - rather than her age  :-\

There is a birth recorded as
25616/1889 PINKSTONE SARAH J W

Parents being Thomas and Amelia

Obviously the question remains - is Sarah's birth in 1889 the same lady reported as Irene BOYES  in later documentation  ???

edit - sorry - our posts crossed paths

There were no further births recorded to the BOYES couple after the 1913 Unnamed child who   died in 1914

4292/1914  BOYES
MALE INFANT
Parents Burton R & IRENE W
At MACKSVILLE

Sarah Irene Warrell PINKSTONE (edit to correct spelling) had a number of siblings born in NSW.
(This notwithstanding the "heritage" website claim of 12 children)

I think it is preferable to keep all information on the board and not share by pm.  It's frustrating for those helping when information is not available to them.

Cheers

Following the death recorded in 1951 for Irene BOYES who had lived in Sydney for 34 years

Sydney Morning Herald has the Funeral Notice
17 July 1951
BOYES - The Relatives and Friends of the late Mrs Irene Boyes are kindly invited to attend her funeral, to leave our private chapel 604 Crown Street Sydney this morning at 9 o'clock for the Crematorium Eastern Suburbs - LABOR MOTOR FUNERALS Ltd

As no parents names are recorded on the death registration it may be worth following this up.

The 2 advert's in the Truth (10 July 1938) and Tweed Daily (19 June 1948) show that at least some members of the family believed she was still alive at least up until 1948.

The 1938 notice states that Irene had left Macksville ABOUT 18 years ago (ie sometime around 1920 +/-) Therefore she may have been living in Sydney for about 34 years as reported on that death record

... but then I may have it all mixed up  :-\

Still would be interested in other people's thoughts on this option

Eastern suburbs crematorium search shows age 34

http://www.esmp.net.au/search-map-facility/crematorium-search

Funeral date:  17/07/1951    Age: 34

I was hoping that this would be the correct one
