Looking for information on David Farmilo[e]b.1822 Gloucestershire - wife Sophia- daughter Sarah Elizabeth Farmilo b. Jan 18th 1853 one of 5 children?? Sarah married John Page

Also Eliza [Elizabeth] Spohia Farmilo b. 1850 who married James [Watts] Page who was my husband`s great grandfather

The Farmilo family seem to have moved to the Chelsea area of London from Gloucestershire.

Eliza Sophia Farmilo had her birth registered at St George Hanover Square Registration District.

So the family were already in London by that date.


Sarah Elizabeth also St George Hanover Square in 1853.

1881 census shows David's birthplace as Avening, Gloucestershire.

 Re. David Farmilo- If his birth in 1822 is correct is it unusual for his baptism to have taken place in 1825? Perhaps I have the wrong birth year.

Had a very quick look at Gloucestershire Marriage Index CD after 1800 and baptisms after 1813 (will look again later)

so far....


David FARMILO married Elizabeth FARMILO 15 April 1833 at Avening

and

Thomas FARMILO Wdr married Eliza PLUMMER 6 June 1803 at Horsley


? is Richard PLANNER on the 1841 census - Richard PLUMMER?

It isn't unusual for children to be baptised later - or sometimes even 2/3/4 children are all baptised together - also as this could be a non-conformist family - sometimes they were privately baptised in houses
