William and Sarah Rushforth after 1871 census
« on: Friday 06 November 15 15:33 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Please can anyone help me to find William or Sarah Rushforth after 1871?

William born 1830 in Worsbrough married Sarah Cope 22 March 1852 in St Mary's Church in Barnsley.  Sarah was born in Barnsley in 1836.

They were living in Taylor Row Barnsley at the time of the 1871 census with their 3 children, George aged 18, John aged 11 and Sarah Ann aged 3. William's occupation given as a coal miner.

I have found George (my Gt Grandfather) but am unable to find the rest of the family after 1871.

A few members of Sarah's family did move to Leeds so am thinking that William and Sarah may have gone there as well.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
