PALMER, William George b 11/12/1863
« on: Saturday 07 November 15 10:19 GMT (UK) »
I have been able to find William on the census up to 1891 and the 1901 and 1911 have his wife and family but not him. On the 1939 register I have found him and his wife at 3 Row, 106 in Yarmouth. Has anyone any ideas as to where I can look for the missing years? He was a Baker most of his life although on the 1891 census he was a Drummer in the 4th Norfolk regiment.
Thanks

I think it probably is although the birth year is wrong. I can't find any military records for him, for someone in for such a long time is there anywhere other than ancestry and findmypast that I can search?

His military records do seem to be available on FindMyPast.

Try searching for PALMER with Optional keywords-St Marks Norwich.

Thanks for the help. Just need to find the 1911 census entry to complete this bit of research.
