Yes definitely: just what I have been doing and yes it takes quite some time but that's the deal with Family History.  I just got  a little excited and then thought I must have imagined things as I couldn't see Catherine.

I think if amount is shown against record that the families are related,i have seen this on marriage records.  These records are taken from a site I use.

Martin Lyons by 1901 is living in Townland of Culnacleha  Parish Annagh Co Mayo. I have found a marriage in 1885 married to a Mary Mcgarry, his father is listed as John Lyons a farmer.  By 1911 he has remarried with a young family.

I do see there is a well documented Tree On Ancestry with records from Catherine and some siblings in Australia, have you connections?

I posted a link at reply #1 to a specific NLI RC record for the baptism of Martin Lyons on 22 Feb 1860 in Annagh RC parish which I think may be relevant, could you provide the links to the others? I struggled to find them with my eyes.
