O'Loughlin (Thomas O'Loughlin 1829 Newry)

Hi There,
             May not be of much help but I remember talking to a lady called Mary O'Loughlin just before Christmas this year who told me that her relatives were from Newry, she lives in Rathriland in Co Down. My mother was also O'Loughlin which is how the conversation got started. my mum was from Mohill Co Leitrim.

Hi George, thanks for the reply. The Mary you speak of may be able to help me find out more. My Gt Grandmother was Maggie (Margaret) O'Loughlin who married John Stokes my Gt Grandfather. I will send you my email by private message. Regards

Thomas oloughlin (son of Patrick I believe) born in Clare 1829 is my 3rd great grandfather.
Looking at your posts we seem to have the same family. My great great grandfather is also John who married Jane Morrison.
My great grandfather is Joseph, father of my grandfather Brendan oloughlin (Warrenpoint, Co. Down) he moved to Birmingham when he was very young to work too before coming back.
