He had a tile manufacturer, employing one journeyman. In 1851 his wife Sarah was running the business. Her grandson was with her.

Honestly, I promise you, it's FILE not tile!!!  1841 shows him as a file smith, with Mary Wood (in the same household) a file cutter.
