Simon,

Found this for you by doing a search on Google. (www.vintagefishingtackle.com/accessories.htm).

See section 1974AG  it mentions a piece of fishing tackle equipment for sale by your Robert Turnbull and that the business went 'out of business' in 1930

Meant to say, I typed in:

"robert turnbull, fly fishing equipment, edinburgh 1950"

to Google and there's more bits and pieces.

Happy hunting!

Hi Simon

I'm Robert Turnbull's great great grandson. Was wondering if you found any information that I could add to my family tree?

Thanks alot.

Welcome to Rootschat. Unfortunately Simonant hasn't been online since 2005.
