Who were Henry & Rebecka's families?
« on: Wednesday 18 November 15 16:34 GMT (UK) »
Can someone help me out with details of Henry Tomlin please.
I think he was born c.1756 in Great Gaddesden. I haven't any other details of him or his parents.  He did marry Rebecka, I don't know her birth date, or marriage date, or surname.  They had a daughter Ann, who was born in Great Gaddesden in 1797, and she married Joseph Smith on 12 January 1818 in Great Gaddesden.
I'd be really grateful for any help you can give me with these families.

A marriage to keep in mind:

Thomas Tomalin married Rebecca Peppet 11/10/1777 Redbourn, Hertfordshire

Is 'Thomas' possibly a mistake and should be Henry??   I cannot find any children born to a Thomas and Rebecca nor any likely death for a Thomas Tomalin.   Only 7 miles between Redbourn and Great Gaddesden.

Thank you all for your replies.

At long last I have now got some other details to work on!

I'm wondering about the Thomas Tomalin though,  it's not a name that could be mistaken for

Henry,  but then I suppose it could have been his nickname?........very confusing!

Thanks once again.
