I have had a look, and I can't see any sign of him - at least not in Wales.  I'll have another look.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

You can get all this for free on familysearch.org if you don't have a subscription to one of the commercial sites.

This may be of some use,   Familysearch has a baptism for a Decimus john. 15 Feb 1798 in llangeler.

Welsh baptisms were mainly patronymic then, so Decimus father was  likely John Jones.

I am very interested to see a reference to Decimus and Daniel Jones in this forum

Daniel and Decimus are relatives of mine.  My grandmother was Annie Jones.  Her father was William George also a blacksmith and Daniel was his father
I'd be interested to discuss this further.  I may have found some distant cousins  :-)
